Key Webinars
Webinars have been one of the main ways the programme has trained Arkansas practices. The recorded sessions cover the medical home model itself, enrolment, shared savings, quality assurance and the reports that practices receive, so a team can work through the material at a time that suits it.

Introductions to the model
An overview webinar introduced the patient centered medical home model and how it differs from ordinary primary care, and a later session covered enrolment so that practices could join with a clear idea of what was involved. These sessions were designed for practices considering participation as well as those already taking part.
As the programme developed, further webinars looked at the quality assurance side, including care plans and validation, and at how the medical home work related to other coordinated care efforts. The sequence of sessions tracks the programme as it grew.
Webinars on payments and reports
A shared savings webinar explained how the incentive payments work, and report webinars walked practices through the quarterly reports and how to read them. These sessions connect the programme's financial side to the data a practice sees in its own portal account.
Additional webinars covered enrolment dates for the participating plans, benchmarks and the practical questions that arise as practices compare their results with the standards the programme sets.
Sessions with professional organisations
The programme also worked with professional organisations to reach their members. A series of webinars with the Arkansas chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics covered enrolment and monthly topics, and a peer-to-peer session let practices learn from one another.
Further sessions with that chapter and with family physicians followed over subsequent months, including a spring meeting. These collaborations extended the programme's reach into practices that might not otherwise have joined a scheduled session.
Records and historical material
The recorded webinars are kept as part of the programme's training material, alongside a historical session on medical home models. Anyone who wants to understand how the programme explained itself to practices can follow the sessions in order.
Because the sessions were recorded at particular points, they reflect the guidance of the time. A practice using them today should treat them as training and background rather than as the current statement of requirements.
The recordings work best as self-paced training. A practice can assign the model overview to staff who are new to the programme, the enrolment session to whoever handles applications, and the report webinars to the people who will read the quarterly results. Because each session can be replayed, a team can pause on a difficult section or return to it during the reporting period, which is more flexible than a single live session that everyone must attend at the same time.
The webinars also complement the written guidance rather than duplicating it. A report guide explains each field on a form; a webinar shows someone working through an example and saying aloud what they are looking for. A practice that uses both tends to understand a measure faster than one that relies on either alone, because the written document carries the detail and the recording carries the reasoning.
